Explanation

Why did the RCaaS RSE Team create this repository?

This repository was created to address a number of goals:

  1. Showcase setting up a flask python webapp using uv and VS code.
  2. Showcase the use of Leaflet and MongoDB.
  3. Illustrate how to document the code base and generate project documentation with MkDocs.
  4. Illustrate how to add copyright and license information.
  5. Illustrate how to add metadata (TODO)
  6. Illustrate WCAG level AA compliance.

This is a work in progress. It is not perfect but hopefully of sufficient quality to be of use if you are looking for guidance in any of these areas.
